Stillwater Leech Flies
Leeches have a bad rap as creepy crawly blood suckers, but trout love them and so fly fishermen, especially those that fish lakes, love these little suckers. Leeches, which are actually related to other aquatic worms, come in a variety of colors and swim with an enticing wriggling action that big fish can't resist. It's important for all anglers serious about catching big fish in lakes to have a good selection of leech flies to choose from. Make sure you have plenty of leeches in your fly box.
