Damsels Flies
Damsel flies are one of the most important food sources for fish in lakes and slow moving rivers. The site of these slight blue, gray, or green bugs flitting about or the nymphs wiggling around in the weedy shallows makes the lake angler giddy. Anyone who has fished damsel fly imitations during a hatch can tell you that the fish just go crazy for both damsel nymphs and for adult damsel fly patterns. Make sure that you are prepared for the damselfly hatch phenomenon by having some of these beauties in your box.
