Developed by Chuck Stranahan of Hamilton, MT for the hecuba mayfly hatch on the Bitterroot. An orangish/brown bug, the dubbing mix is a closely-held secret. This great looking fly stands out among all those Adams parachutes in the box. This fly is also an exceptionally effective as a mayfly imitation or a general attractor fly because there are lots of insects that are amber and olive in color, like the body of this fly. This is truly a RiverBum favorite. I typically lead with a Brindle and trail with a PMD, BWO, or a cripple.
