The Temple Fork Outfitters Pro II Series is TFO’s most popular because it delivers excellent performance in virtually all fly fishing situations and it easily accommodates beginning to advanced fly casters. Designed with equal emphasis on presentation and distance capability, these medium-fast action rods with exceptional recovery are wonderfully smooth casting. Within the series, shorter length and lighter line weight rods excel at presentation, while the longer and heavier line weight rods readily deliver large flies at distance.
From a delicate 2-weight to the very popular 10-weight, all 19 Pro II models are constructed with intermediate modulus carbon fiber material and finished in a stealthy matte-black color. They feature anodized aluminum reel seats with braided carbon fiber inserts. All models feature alignment dots color coded by line weight, premium grade cork with burled accents, oversized SiC stripping guides and ultra-lightweight chromium-impregnated stainless-steel snake guides. All Pro II rods come packaged in a labeled rod sock and do not include a rod tube.
