TFO Bug Launcher

We’re passionate about kids enjoying their time on the water as much we do. So we designed the Bug Launcher series with small hands and bodies in mind while maintaining our commitment to performance. They’re shorter in length but deliver presentations with so much finesse you’ll have a hard time handing them off to your young angler. Bug Launchers are the perfect rod to get youngsters started with their own gear and they’re durable enough to survive repeated swats at dragonflies or turtles! 

Bug Launchers are constructed with standard modulus carbon fiber material and include thinner diameter reconstituted cork half wells grips for a better fit in smaller hands. 

The two rod family offers both a 7’ and 8’ two-piece versions for anglers of all sizes and strengths. The yellow Bug Launcher logo stands out against a candy apple red blank 

and an extended reel seat allows smaller anglers to use two hands for more control. Aluminum oxide stripping guides, chromium-impregnated stainless-steel snake guides 

Bug Launcher rods come packaged in a labeled sock and do not include a rod tube.
